Named in tribute to forest-surrounded apartments on an urban college campus, the design of this typeface is built around the juxtaposition of straight and curved forms in each serif. Intended as a text face, but not entirely complete, Breton is an exercise in repeating forms across characters, and creating a typeface’s character through its subtle details. In its current state, the uppercase is much more complete and functional than the lowercase.
